Homepod volume too low with Apple TV

Like others I can not raise the volume of Homepod high enough when on Apple TV.

At maximum setting it is not loud enough. And in spite of asking Siri to raise volume to 100
& tapping + sign on top of home pod, it still is not loud enough.

I have Apple TV 4k on tvOS 11.3 (15L211)

Any info is appreciated

HomePod and Apple TV volume I use my HomePod for the sound on my 4K Apple TV. Until last night if the HomePod was the only output selected then the Apple TV remote controlled the volume of the HomePod. A volume bar appeared on the right side of the screen. But today the remote is only controlling the volume on my TV even if the sound is only outputting to the HomePod and not the tv. I've tried restarting both but can't fix it, does anyone have any ideas about how to make it work like how it used to?

HomePod + Apple TV still doesn’t work I just updated both Apple TV and HomePod to the latest version and they STILL don’t work together. The volume still doesn’t work and HomePod still won’t connect as a default speaker - I have to go in settings every time to choose HomePod as a speaker and and the volume wont respond at all on the Apple remote when connect to the Apple TV. I have reported this many times over the past year and a couple updates have gone by now already and still nothing. At this point I give up and considering going back to my Bose Revolve speaker which worked flawlessly every time. Glad I didn’t buy more HomePods before I found this out.

Original HomePod stereo paired to Apple TV volume not in sync I am experiencing the same issue as this thread (I was unable to reply to the same thread so have to make this new post): HomePod stereo pair will not sync volume - Apple Community This is on tvOS and audioOS 15.3. I tried restoring my 2nd gen Apple TV 4K and both HomePods and re-established the stereo pair. That seemed to resolve the issue at first, but after the TV powers off or waking the Apple TV from sleep the volume levels are not synced. Pre and post-restores it was the Left speaker in the stereo pair to continue responding to the volume adjustments and the Right speaker would only adjust the volume if you physically tapped the volume buttons on the HomePod. Stereo pairing with Apple TV is such a welcome feature, and helps me enjoy my Apple TV even more, but it’s incredibly frustrating to encounter this issue. Never had a problem with stereo pairing before. This is anecdotal, but everyone I’ve asked that uses HomePod minis in the pairing have not reported this issue. So maybe it’s just a bug that’s affecting the original HomePods.

I called Apple Care with this same issue (and to illustrate I played both music and a tv show over the phone) and the tech I got said he had heard this same complaint multiple times. It seems that the output from AppleTv is being reduced by close to 50%. He had the same suggestion: Send in a feedback form at Feedback - HomePod - Apple
