view on screen at actual size

I'm trying to view a very large photoshop file on screen at actual size. My 27" iMac with Retina display has a screen resolution of 5120 x 2880. Actual viewable screen width is 23.375", which ought too give me a screen resolution of about 219 psi. I plugged that into photoshop preferences/Unites & Rulers: Screen resolution. However, my ruler increments onscreen in photoshop still measure well over at 100% view. What am I doing wrong? Even when I divided 5120 by 27", it's still not calibrated correctly.

Apple Pro Display XDR Scaling/Resolution Question So when you are using a Macbook Pro or iMac or anything with a built in display, and you go to Display Settings, you see scaling options like more space / less space, etc. You can also use a keystroke to see the actual resolutions.. The thing is though, when changing the resolution regardless of which one you use, the image remains perfectly sharp, as if the resolution never actually changed but only the scaling did. In contrast, when I'm using a monitor with my Macbook Pro, and this has been with every single flat panel I have ever used with a Mac going back as far as flat panels existed, when you change to a non-native resolution using the SAME DISPLAY PREFERENCES the picture is always a tiny bit blurred. I'm guessing because it's really badly upscaling the image or something. My question is: Does the Pro Display XLR change resolutions or scaling settings WITHOUT blurring the image? The reason is for the benefit of my eyesight I want to get a monitor where I can set the resolution a bit lower so that I can make the text a bit larger so I don't need my glasses or to strain my eyes to read it. I used to always want the highest resolution but I've since learned that's why my myopia is as bad as it is and even after LASIK has gotten bad again. But very simply please ignore the paragraph above, just answer my question if possible thx... I'd like to know the answer before spending $6000 on a monitor :)

Scaling UI - Resolution change makes it blurry Scaling UI - Resolution change makes it blurry Because of my eye sight issues, I want to scale the global (all applications) user interface to ease reading menus and icons. I can scale the displays to a lower resolution which enlarges the screen content, but then everything is blurry. At the native resolution (2560 X 1440) everything is very sharp. On my Windows 10 computer, there is DPI scaling to fix this. I'm running Mojave 10.14.6 on a 2014 Mac Pro, AMD FirePro D700 6GB on three 27" Cinema thunderbolt displays.

Display brightness calibration Hello,I am a photographer and when editing my photos in Lightroom and Photoshop look fine through my iMac in terms of brightness/exposure. However, when I then look at the same images on a different device such as a third party monitor connected to a PC, these look darker and underexposed.I have my iMac display brightness set to 3 points lower then maximum.Can anybody recomend a way I can set the display brightness to what a third party monitor has? I really do not want to spend money for a spider to calibrate the screen. Also, when i try to reduce the overall monitor brightness, this gets very dark!Please help!Many thanks!!!
