Webkits crashes websites/browser (Safari, Opera, Firefox)

Certain websites will stall, fail to load, and then crash. Sometimes the crashing website will cause the whole app to crash. This happens in Opera, Safari, and Firefox. I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 on a mid 2012 MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5. Below is an Etrecheck report. I deleted the adware but it still is crashing. Thanks for your help! See below:

You have Adware. Suggest you run MalwareBytes

MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (formally AdwareMedic)

<https://www.malwarebytes.org>

And when you are finished checking (and cleaning) uninstall MalwareBytes

<https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1928>

com.avast.home.userinit.plist (? 0 - installed 2017-12-20)

Are you running (or were you running) Avast?

Suggest uninstalling using the vendors uninstall instructions.
