Audio playback stuttering/skipping iOS11.4

Same problem here! It only started last week, way after I updated to 11.4.

Both Spotify and iTunes skip - extremely frustrating on runs!

But that doesn’t explain why Audible is skipping on Bluetooth.

This fix sounds promising and explains a lot of behaviours/symptoms I have been getting with my iPhone X. Will try it over the next week and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip.

I'm actively looking into alternatives, as there seems to be no help nor acknowledgment of the problem by apple.

I have same issue. Really embarrasing for a premium brand to have issies that should have stayed in the 90’s.

I didn't loose any music no.

All of my music are saved playlists that are available to save. However I believe it was all backed up to my iCloud.

Same here. iphone 6s skipping audio since iOS 11.3.1, Frustrating.

iPhone 6, latest IOS etc. Full factory reset and set up as new did not fix for me.

Same here. Soooo sick of it. I think we need a return/reimbursement for paying for apple music and the crap skips non stop. $1000 phone and performs like trash!!!

Hi, I have same issue...I wish i can put the audio file so Apple can hear it. IT's annoying and happens daily to me.

I have a great video file with an example. A video where you see the person speaking and moving, while the audio skips - stuck in one place - and sounds like a DJ scratching. It goes on and on.

Wait for the iOS 12 update.

If that doesn’t work - buy a Samsung.

Iphone 6s Plus, same problem, skipping music from almost any sound related app. Also started doing the same during phone calls, Apple FIX THIS NOW.
