I have a 2011 Macbook Pro and just recently it started giving me distortion and scan lines while in use. Shutdown and restarted and now it gives a purple mac logo and status bar at startup. The system then shuts down. I have tried getting to the disk utility without luck, used cm+opt+r+p with out luck either. Anyone else have this problem before?

Tried that and it didnt work, laptop just turned off.
I have done an OS system reinstall (Globe icon at startup) and before it gets to the log in screen there is a blue screen with black vertical lines.
Tried the "fsck" trick and instead of white letters and black background, the background is blue.
Tried starting up to disk utility but it never pops up.
Dont know what to do at this point. It either turns off after apple logo load, stays on a white/grey screen or blue with black lines
