After updating to 11.4 on iPhone 6s, the battery has gone down 50% overnight twice now. My friend has the same problem on her iPad. Is this happening to others?
I’m calling BS to the Apple response. The old replace the battery, it’s your apps, gps, indexing, etc. is not the problem.
It’s 11.4 software upgrade!
My phone goes nearly flat from 100 % overnight with everything closed, no mail pull, etc. just sitting. I’ve heard the standard answers given every time there’s a problem with an apple phone. I’ve had a few by the way.
What needs to happen is you need to say sorry Mr. Customer, we will rush a patch thru on this issue right away.

Although I can't explain how or why, my iPhone 6s is functioning normally now. The battery doesn't drain overnight and daytime battery use seems normal.
My iPhone SE's battery was draining fast after 11.4. I updated to 11.4.1 last night.
Today after 11 hours, it is at 91%!
Seems to have worked for me.
Also appears to be fixed for me. But I am going to wait 48 hours just to make sure.
One way to resolve the battery drain problem – on the Airplane Mode function. However, Airplane Mode turn my iPhone 7 Plus into an idiot phone (still an iPhone, anyway).
I am using iPhone 7 Plus. The battery drain problems have not been addressed in iOS 11.4.1. Battery use around 6% to 7% during standby.
Charged my 6 (not S) to 100% last night after the latest .1 update. With WiFi on, the battery was at 99% after sitting overnight.
So sample of one, resolved for me. FYI

My husbands iPhone 6 does same thing in past 48hrs since updating to 11.4.1
phone was working perfectly prior to update.
Mine has done the same. Totally drains battery from 100% to 10%
In the last 24 hours, Music 1.2 hours background, 5 minutes screen claimed 32% battery usage.
Dear Apple, that is a horrible stat.
