MIDI input

In my recording sessions I need to be able to input Channels 1,2,3,4 and 10 on a Roland RD700 keyboard. In other words, the keyboard is split. In my previous DAW (digital Performer) I was able to clearly see all of the Midi activities for all ports and channels and I could separately input those channels.

In Logic Pro:

1. Is there a way to get an overview of all connected Midi devices?

2. what do I need to do to get the separate channels input to the program. I have made 5 separate tracks with a common PORT and set the channels but it only brings in Midi signal from the one that is highlighted.

Thanks a million in advance.
