iOS 11.4 battery drain

My iPhone 6 was working perfectly fine until I updated to iOS 11.4 and ever since I did that my battery is draining rapidly even without me using it at all. I used to go a full day without charging it now it may last half a day. I am just wondering if something got turned on with this new update that I have to turn off to save battery life. It is just weird I have not done anything other than update the iOS and now this happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The same problem on the iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2. As a workaround disabling Wi-Fi helps.

I have turned off my wifi and have found no difference in the performance of my 6S on iOS 11.4.

I hope Apple is doing something as I use this phone for business purposes.

Unfortunately, you can't as the prior version is no longer signed by Apple.

yup, i hv tried my SE setting it up as a new phone. but no improvement. it is clear the culprit is ios 11.4.instead of ios engineers breaking their head, we are breaking ours.

Same here I've been to the genius bar twice recently and they don't want to know because the diagnosis battery test shows a good battery, its as if they think I'm lying!

I got it "on" all the day long, no connection to wifi, and still the problem exists. It should not be about that.

I have the same issue. Apple refuses to acknowledge that the update is draining batteries. I'm done with Apple.
