I did this the other day. It was good then I restored the backup and it was good for about 12 hours. Now it is doing the same thing. I will be calling again.
This article might give you all some hope https://www.cultofmac.com/559115/apple-close-to-releasing-ios-11-4-1-macos-10-13 -6/
In the 45 hours did you use your phone? Email? Text? Surfing the Web? FB? Bank account? etc
If so this sounds better than ever possible.
At this point I would be happy with 6 hours with minimal use!
I am with my 6s since a couple of days on iOS 12 public beta. Unfortunately the battery drain is still happend. Network reset tried without success.
It’s better than what all of us are dealing with.
Second day in 4 hours I went from 70% to 10....phone just sitting on my desk.
Hello Apple......this is truly becoming a real PIA for a lot of people.
Same issue on two of my phones, iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 :(
There have been 5 attempts at an 11.4.1 beta, something is on the way but it's taking a long time, it must be the last update before 12.
How do you sign up for the Beta program?
Go to beta.apple.com on your phone.
I'd already restored to a new phone to try that so I had no apps, the only 1 I have installed so far works.
Thanks for the tip. Got the beta installed now and no appreciable battery loss
Thanks for the tip but I've tried turning off background app refresh entirely, and I'm still getting the battery drain problem at random on both of our iPhones.
Agreed. Just about to post the same. The issue is also in the 12 beta 2
I’ve gone back to setting background refresh to WiFi only again. Seems to be better. I’ll post again tomorrow once I’ve seen the overnight usage.
