iOS 11.4 battery drain

My iPhone 6 was working perfectly fine until I updated to iOS 11.4 and ever since I did that my battery is draining rapidly even without me using it at all. I used to go a full day without charging it now it may last half a day. I am just wondering if something got turned on with this new update that I have to turn off to save battery life. It is just weird I have not done anything other than update the iOS and now this happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue.

When I look at my battery performance, it shows that the personal hotspot on my phone is being used, though I have never turned it on. I have to keep charging my iPhone every 2-3 hours now.

Forgot 11.4.1 and download the beta 12. I beta tested 11.4.1 and it didn’t fix the battery issue.

I was never really happy with the battery life of my X , but now (11.4) it is insane!

From 100% charged I started to use WAZE app ~1hour long (not full bright !) and battery dropped under 50%!

I downloaded 11.4.1 and isn't any better.

I hope Apple pushed 11.4.1 out quickly so they can put everyone on doing 12 correctly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same issue with my SE after 11.4.

I updated to 11.4.1 yesterday and today it seems my battery is not draining. Have lost only 2% since unplugging 7 hours ago.

Perhaps you should try reading the Non Disclosure Agreement you agreed to when signing up for the beta.

One more thing is they keep adding more crap which means more usage. I’m seriously thinking about going back to an old flip phone.
