iOS 11.4 WiFi Problems

Yes this is a 100% bug since the update the wifi drops all the time numerous times on even different routers.

Yes looks like this bug, i have checked with local internet subscribers there is no issue with them. Defenetly its ios version upgrade issue

Please fix it asap

This is happening with me on iPhone 6 plus immediately after the update to iOS 11.4.

I tried restoration but nothing works it's an annoying bug and Apple must do something about it! 😠

Apple has released 11.4.1. Has anyone tried it yet? Please let us know if it fixes your WiFi issues.

I’ve been running 11.4.1 beta fir a while. Seems to be ok.

That won't fix the actual issue. Many have tried it, it might fix a glitch. But there is a real bug in iOS 11.4.1

A couple weeks ago I upgraded from my 4-year-old iPhone 5C (which worked fine but was too old to get updates anymore) to an iPhone 7. Yesterday I realized my new phone was randomly disconnecting from my home wifi and work wifi (auto-join is on for both and connection/router isn't an issue). When I try to manually reconnect, I get an error message saying the password is incorrect, even when I enter it correctly. While I can fix the issue by restarting my phone or going to General-Reset-Reset Network Settings, I don't want to do this all the time, especially since I have a small data plan. This is making me miss my trusty old 5C!

Great, and Apple just stopped signing 11.3.1 code, so there is NOOOO!!!! downgrading. Yes, thanks alot you F***, that a very expensive paperweight sitting on my desk!!! Are we really suppose to wait until IOS 12 is released, with no certainty that the issue is fixed. Just sign 11.3.1 or 11.3 again, or that poor soul at the Apple store is in for a treat 🙂

might be two issues, but they related to the same bug.

1) iPad shows was WiFi is on (symbol in upper left corner) but refuses to connect

or connects after a few minutes OR

2) iPad connects, then drops WiFi (WiFi symbol disappears) after ten seconds or so

I was really annoyed with this problem so I’ve decided to get a beta version of 11.4.1 in hope to having this problem fixed but I ended with disappointment. This problem isn’t fixed in iOS 11.4.1 so I guess we will have to wait until the iOS 12 release.

Unfortunately all tips found on the internet (forgetting the network, rebooting of router, rebooting of device and resetting of network settings) to fix the problem, are just temporary workarounds. The problem remains and will reoccur after a short while.

I hope people are reporting this, not just omplaining to each other. This problem is MAJOR. Geniuses at the Genius Bar can’t handle it. After having them set my iPad back to completely new, with 11.4, it wouldn’t sign on to their system either.

there have been SO MANY things wrong with their OS lately.... and from what so can find out, IOS 12b is also completely screwed up.

I have this same issue since updating to 11.4 on my X. Every time the phone goes to the screen saver, it loses my home wifi network and keeps asking for the password, unless I go in through Preferences>Wifi to reacquire it. Irritating to say the least.

I cannot believe apple has become so inept with their software. Siri, can you fix this? Haha...that was a snide joke.

I’ve tried that too...worked for about 24 hours, then same problem. I’ve even tried various channels and bandwidths on the router. Everything worked.... for a while. 😟

id like to know where Apple is on this issue.

I agree...I am holding off. Really the situation is very bizarre. Everything I’ve tried, static IP, etc etc, works for a while, then it reverts back to crappy behavior.

as far as reverting to 11.3, Genius can’t do it anymore as Apple isn’t signing off on 11.3 or even 11.4 anymore. sh*t out of luck.
