iOS 11.4 on iPhone 6 and iPad Pro. WiFi drops on iPad and then does not reconnect until numerous attempts, turning WiFi on/off, connecting to different network, or powering iPad on/off. Phone has no problem nor do my many Windows computers nor do my SmartTVs. It’s not my router or signal strength. Is this an iPad Pro chipset problem? Also, I have WiFi Networking turned off under Privacy setting for both phone and iPad

Go to settings and open your wifi. Select your wifi by touching the wifi name. Click on Forget This Network. Touch Forget this Network (in red to confirm). Then open up WIFI to rediscover your network and re-enter your password for your network.
This fixed my WIFI issues on iphone 6 plus and iphone 8 running ios 11.4 so far.😉
I still have the problem with my 7+ phone. The only place it doesn't work is specifically in my office. It works standing near the router, and it works in other locations on the campus network.
Since, unlike at home, I have no control over the routers, I highly doubt they will do anything for me, but can anyone clarify the issue/explicate what I would need to request the networking folks look at?
Seriously doubt they'll give me the time of day, since I have never had an issue all 7 years I've been in this office, until 11.4.1. Other people using 11.4.1 have no problems in my office, so I am skeptical any change will help. Super irritating -- my rate of data usage is increasing a bunch since this happened.

I have the same issue on my Iphone 6s. It all started after th ios 11.4 update, i hope they fix it soon....
Same for my iPhone 6. Mostly does not (re-) connect to Wifi and stays on 4G. However, sometimes it will connect. Do’nt recognize a pattern in it yet.
Same problem on an iPad mini 4 (64gb WiFi only).
Started right after the recent update. No other hardware having the problem.

I'm suffering from internet connectivity problems on wifi and on LTE network in reason of the 11.4 ios update.
Forget it..... 12 beta is out....... same problem. I’m ready to dump all of my apple stuff and go Android. Really tired of more problems after every upgrade.

I’ve also noticed that, even after the WiFi reappears and becomes stable, there is no connectivity to any wireless printers unless there is a complete network reset. VERY problematic.
Just experienced that Reset Network Settings works only temporarily. After 24 hours the Wi-Fi problem occurs again. 😟
Apple, please solve this problem ASAP with an iOS update.
IOS turned to bugy system from while iPhone 6s is effected too , the network circle keeps roiling all the time with very slow WiFi and 4g data and I can't take this anymore .
Same here on MLM62DN/A (iPhone SE), in combination with with rapid battery drainage.
Good News Apple Released 11.4.1 to developers today let us hope that this update coming soon will include a fix for the 11.4 wifi dropping issues.
I havent heard a thing about it.... where’d you get the info?
