iPhone X iOS11.4 stuck after restoring backup
My iPhone X 256gb black is stuck on the screen below. If I install iOS 11.4 or 11.3.1 I can setup the phone as new just fine. However, when I restore either of my latest two backups (I keep them archived for reasons like this) the phone completes the backup restore and boots to the 'Slide to Setup' screen. After I slide to setup I see the below screen. I can't press continue. A spinning circle shows up below the battery when I press continue, but I've left the phone for over 14 hours with that spinning wheel and it never goes any further. I've hard rebooted now several times, and I've restored several different backups to both iOS 11.4 and 11.3.1, using both MacOS High Sierra with latest iTunes and Windows 10, and it just gets stuck here every time.
For added note: My accessibility options work, and with voiceover on, when I tap continue the phone instead reads the time in the top left corner. I can't tap anything below "Update Completed" without voiceover doing this. I can tap on "Update Completed" though, and it reads this, as well as battery, wifi, and cell signal.
The phone also shows up in iTunes, with file sharing access to my data..so my data is there, and my apps. It's like this Update Completed screen is just sitting there on top of something else..like a password prompt, or something. I can't continue. Using the Zoom accessability I can move the "Continue" button so it appears over the clock, or over wifi, but I still can't tap it.
Each time I do the restore of my backup, upon completion, my Apple Watch goes through a full restore as well, and this morning my phone's alarm went off at it's regularly scheduled time. However, I could not see the alarm on the phone to dismiss it, but fortunately dismissing it from the watch stopped the phone's alarm too.
My last idea is to buy a wired lightning connector keyboard to plug in direct to the phone and hope that I can type in a password or navigate more than it's letting me now.
This is all very strange!! Does anybody have any ideas?? (Oh and the phone has the original OEM screen, never opened/dropped/modified, and it's plenty warm (responds to touch everywhere but can't continue), not that this should be an issue anymore after iOS 11.2.1 I believe)
