Can anyone fix grayed out speaker on calls?

Can’t hear on calls and disconnects FaceTime! The speaker option is grayed out. ive tried resetting everything.

iPhone 12 Speaker Issues I need to use the Speaker button when making or answering all phone calls even though I have the volume buttons on maximum. The volume works with everything else. How do I fix this problem as I don't want all incoming and outgoing calls on Speaker?

Didn’t help. Even the automatic is selected.

How is this not criminal? I have the same issue. It’s a know defect in the iPhone 7 yet it is our problem? This is ridiculous. I’m so upset I’m getting physically sick.
