configure magic mouse to double left click like my old magic mouse?

My 5 yr old magic mouse would double click on the left side of the mouse. Now with the new MacOS, I am unable to check click speed and can no longer double click with left. Double click is now only with two finger tap in center of mouse versus just double clicking left.

Any way to change click speed or configure mouse to double click with two left depresses of the mouse?
