I have a 64 GB Apple TV 4K and a new 65” LG 4K TV and my Apple TV is constantly crashing. I’ve done all the troubleshooting recommended by support. In fact, this is my second Apple TV, I’ve already had this device replaced by Apple Support. I’m completely at a loss?
Please describe when this happens (e.g. with a certain app or even with only the home screen loaded),
and what do you perceive as a crash (what does it look like; does the unit restart by itself; do you get a message).
It’s typically when watching Hulu but I think that’s just because I use Hulu most frequently and it happens in any app. The entire Apple TV reboots with a blinking LED. It takes several minutes to come back online
There is a setting called “match content” in the display settings. I enabled both options (previously disabled) and I’m not experiencing crashes anymore!

That’s an excellent setting, imo. Not sure how that can prevent a crash, but I’m glad you seem to have it sorted now. 🙂
