why did all my Apple Music randomly go away?

Yesterday all my music was randomly deleted. I’ve tried restarting my phone with a hard reboot multiple times but nothing has changed.

Hey Jake,

I love listening to music on my iPhone. I'd be happy to look into getting your songs back in your library.

In this situation, I'd follow the steps here:

Get help with iCloud Music Library - Apple Support

Before following any of the steps in this article, make sure that your iCloud Music Library is set up correctly and that you have the latest versions of iOS, macOS, and iTunes. If you're not a member of Apple Music or don't subscribe to iTunes Match, learn more about how to access your music collection on all of your devices.

To continue with the missing content, use these steps from the same article:

If some of your songs are missing or the song names appear in gray text

If songs that you bought are missing or the song names appear in gray text, they might use digital rights management (DRM). You need to authorize your computer before you can play these songs.

After you authorize, choose File > Library > Update iCloud Music Library from the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or the top of the iTunes window.

If you synced the songs that appear with gray text to your iOS device from a Mac or PC, turn on iCloud Music Library on that computer and your library should update.

Cheers!
