IOS 11.4 is killing my battery

Anyone else have battery issues after the upgrade? Is it possible to go back to previous IOS? Phone is at 60% when I go to bed at night and wake up with is shut down due to no power. Never had that before this upgrade..

I'm also having the problem. Didn't see your post, but I just posted the same issue. Did the update yesterday at 7:00 AM. Had 100% battery life at 7:00 AM. Used my phone the same way I always do, nothing out of the ordinary and by 1:00 PM my phone died.

Same thing today, sent 4 text messages and looked at Instagram a little and now it's almost 5:00 PM and I'm at 9%.

I’ve recently found a temporary fix until Apple address this issue. All u need to do is resetting network settings. Go to network settings under Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. After this you will need to add your Wifi networks again. This should solve the drain issues. Connect your device to 2.5ghz than 5ghz it’s will save the battery more

Am having the same issue too, prior the update on any given day my battery will be 100% in the morning and by the time I go back home at 6:00pm it will be between 40-30% depending on the usage. After the update yesterday I had a full battery in the morning and by 10:30 a.m it was 9% ! I had to recharge 3 times that day !! Keeping in mind my phone usage is literally minimal ..I hope they fix this soon !

Same-a-thing!

but at least you guys are seeing your percentages, my battery shows 100% constantly, then dies.

On Sat, 07 July, when I started seeing the issue, I watched my battery go from ~60% to off in a matter of a few minutes.

At the Apple store they said "Yeah, this battery is prone to that"

Well, it wasn't the day before I did the software update!

I really don't like Apple's new marketing scheme, "Let's break our perfectly performing equipment so people are forced to buy new"

Rant over for now.

Anyone know of a way to roll back an iOS update?
