how do I uninstall opera from my mac

I never installed opera but it has shown up even though it's not my default browser. How do I uninstall it?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

drag the application to the trash

Macintosh HD/Applications/Opera.app

then right click the icon in the dock and select "remove from dock"

Drag it to the trash. And FYI apps don't install themselves.
