How can I connect my 30-inch Cinema Display through usb-c on a new imac?

How can I connect my 30-inch Cinema Display to my new iMac (running 10.13.5) using the usb-c port? I know the 30 inch display differs from the other models and needs a duel link dvi or dvi-d connector. Also, the proper adaptor is hard to find because of the duel link. I was wondering if someone has a solution that does not contain a large number of adaptors because each adaptor added must still support the dual link dvi connection.

iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017), macOS High Sierra (10.13.5), 30-inch Cinema Display

I actually purchased an adapter that was single link and it did not work. I called Apple support and it was suggested I need a dual link adapter. Then I was trying to find a different adapter online and quite a few actually said they will not work for cinema displays and i believe one of them specifically mentioned the 30” model and said it will not work.

Sorry, if my reply made It sound like it worked. The solution did not work. The screen on the second monitor is black, then every once in a while it flickers an image of the desktop. I’m thinking it may be better to invest in a second monitor instead of trying to get the Cinema Display working. The two adapters ran $120 dollars. I should apply that towards a new monitor after I’m reimbursed. Then maybe one day I can add my Cinema Display as a third monitor.

Get a third-party USB-C to Mini DisplayPort adapter rated for "4K", and use with the Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter (US$100). This is one case where "stacking" display adapters does work, and is required.

You must provide at least 5 Volt power on the USB pigtail of the Apple adapter, but it need not be a true USB connection, a 5 Volt power adapter (for an iPhone or iPad) will suffice.

As an alternative to the Apple adapter, Monoprice make one that is only about US$60, but does not carry USB through to the display. All you lose from that is the ability to adjust display brightness, and use the USB ports on the display.
