Windows 10 boot camp no audio

I finally got boot camp working correctly where I can switch between Mac OS and Windows with no issues but now the issue popped up that on the Windows side I get no audio from anything whether I use speakers or connect a pair of headphones. I have made sure all audio drivers are updated but still no luck.

iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017), macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

Audio under bootcamp I have an iMac with a bootcamp partition. Both Mac and windows sides are working perfectly except that there is no audio on the windows side ("no speakers or headphone are plugged in"). Oddly the problem is completely resolved if I restart to windows from the mac side either by: Restarting in windows from Startup Disk Preference on the mac side Selecting the boot camp volume in the startup manager (by holding the option/alt key on restart) Otherwise, the sound never works if I allowing the computer to restart into windows. Somehow the mac side has to have control of the boot to windows for sound to work

Bootcamp Sound Problems So I've been having a problem lately. When I'm in Mac OSX, my internal and external (3.5mm jack) speakers work fine, but in Windows 10, only the external ones work. When I try to listen to something with just my internal speakers there is no sound that comes out. There are also two different options to choose from when choosing a sound output "Speakers (Cirrus Logic CS4208 (AB 94))" and "Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (Cirrus Logic CS4208 (AB 94))" both choices do not output any sound. Any help is appreciated.

You do not seem to have any Intel Audio devices.

Is there a way to fix that without completely undoing the boot camp and starting over from scratch?

Run SMC and NVRAM Reset and reboot into Windows, and check for any unknown devices?

well did this and ended back with my original issue of no longer being able to boot into my Windows partition so back to square one and removing and resetting up the boot camp.

If a SMC and NVRAM Reset caused Windows not to boot, a re-installation is a better path.

Yea I ended up just deleting and reinstalling Windows, so far no issues. Audio is working and so far no blue screen on reboot issues.
