Chum search hijacked home page

Chum search has hijacked my home page on safari, and i can't change the home page. I saw a prior post recommending removing "set safari homepage" profile, but i don't have a profile with that name, only an AdminPerfs profile. Any suggestions how to proceed?

Hi,

It's malware ..

Download and run Malwarebytes > Free Antivirus Replacement & Anti-Malware Tool | Malwarebytes

Only takes a minute or two.

Yes, it's safe.

Then for Safari. Go to the Safari menu bar, cilci Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click: Manage Website Data. Wait for all the data to load then click Remove All > Done. You may have to do this several times.

Then back to the Safari menu bar, click History > Clear History.

Then quit and relaunch Safari.
