Macbook pro (late 2011) charger broke. what can i do?

Does it turn on when it's not plugged in? If it doesn't, then it is more likely a battery issue and not a charger issue, as long as the battery was charged.

If your computer is a 2012 or older, it uses that charger that the link goes to. There is a newer charger that would not fit, which is called a Magsafe 2 charger. You just need the original Magsafe charger. The original will fit.
