Pages 7.0.1 need to remove header and page numbers on first two pages

How do I remove header and page numbers on pages 1 and 2, and start page numbers and header on page 3 on macbook pro, pages 7.0.1. I simply want to have the first two pages without header or footer, and to commence on the actual page 3 with the numbering started as #1 with header onward. The way pages is presently set up, you can only omit header and page number on page 1, by checking "hide on first page of section", under - section - "headers and footers", but even that isn't appropriate because the numbering always considers the first page.

HI Spines,

Insert a Section Break at the end of Page 2.

Click on Page 3.

Open the Document Inspector and choose Section.

Uncheck the Match previous section box

Make the settings shown in the Inspector below.

User uploaded file

Click on the header box where you want the page numbers to appear.

Type any text you want to appear with the page number (I typed 'p. ')

From the Insert menu, choose Page number.

Result shown in image above. The third page of the document is selected. The upper left header box is shown with the page number ( p. 1 ) for that page.

Example in Pages 5.6.2. Your view may vary.

Regards,

Barry
