Mark up Apple Pencil thickness IOS 11.4

How do I change the thickness of the Apple Pencil mark up? The pen in WAY too thick It’s pretty useless. Love the pencil but hate using it for mark up - such a shame. Please apple, give us some options! Or do you have them already hidden somewhere and I can’t find them?

Take a look at the section titled "Use Apple Pencil", and specifically look at step 4. The amount of pressure that you're applying to the pencil could be what is causing the thickness of the lines.
