HighSierra boot camp error Disk could not be partitioned

HI,

I need help as I am a new Mac user and trying to install Windows using Boot Camp Assistant. However I am not able to success since it gives me the error : disk could not be partitioned.

I ran the first aid in disk utility with no luck.

Any help will be very much appreciated!

The other method is to use Time Machine backup, erase the whole disk, and restore the TM backup.

In IR, when you are in Terminal, run

diskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC3 disk0s5

diskutil mergePartitions jhfs+ BCMP disk0s3 disk0s5

Select and Copy (Command+C) the output, quit Terminal, start Safari (Get Help Online) and Paste (Command+V) the output as a reply to this discussion. Quit Safari and get back to Terminal.
