Question

Kendrick Lamar’s albums aren’t downloading.

So I had Apple Music for a month and all I did was listen to Kendrick Lamar the whole time albums like Good kid M.a.a.D city and others now I renew my subscription and I can only listen to select songs and only when I’m online no other song or artist has this problem please help. I’m using Apple Music btw

I understand that you're unable to access some song from a specific artist. I use Apple Music daily myself, so I understand your concern, and I'd be glad to help.

If you had the songs downloaded or as part of a playlist and you had a lapse in your subscription to Apple Music, you'd want to remove the songs and try to download them again. Once a subscription is not renewed, you lose access to that data on your device. That information is explained in the terms and conditions under section "I".

If you've already tried this and the issue still remains, let's go to Settings > iTunes & App Store, tap on your Apple ID and sign out. Once you're signed out, restart your device and go back to Settings > iTunes & App Store and sign in. This step will temporarily remove any music you’ve saved for offline listening, you will have to redownload all the music saved for offline manually again. Once thats complete, check to see if the issue remains.

Alright I just tried to remove the songs and when I did I clicked the download button and again, it just circled and went back to the cloud symbol. I know it’s not because of data I still have at least 7 gigs left of storage if you see this please help!
