Has anyone else received a laceration requiring medical attention due to their Apple Watch face spontaneously separating from the watch body? The watch in question is less than 6 months old, Series 3 (with GPS + Cellular), and not previously dropped, hit or otherwise damaged.

I have seen occasional unverified reports ranging from scratching up to life threatening, so I tend to be a little skeptical. Regardless of that, this forum exists to provide peer tech support and what happened to someone else won’t get your watch fixed. Contact Apple Support And arrange inspection and repair by Apple.
