numbers 5.1 will not edit

Latest version of Numbers (5.1) will not allow any editing of spreadsheet created with previous version. All dropdown menus are greyed out. How to fix?

Hi otro,

Perhaps the document was previously closed while in Print Setup. Click on the Done button to return to the editable view.
