How do I get onto my email account that I have already logged in with?

On the app for mail it doesnt come up with the icloud email address that has been on there for years anymore after an update. Instead it comes up with a list of different emails that I can log in with. When I chose to log in with a icloud address and type in the username and password it comes up with a notification saying that the account is already on this iphone but gives me no option to sign into it. How can I get onto this email account?

Hi Senglandd,

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems like you have been trying to use iCloud mail in the Mail app on your device. If you have already added the Apple ID to the iPhone, all you need to do is enable Mail in the settings. You will then be able to access the mail in the Mail app.

Set up iCloud Mail on your iOS device

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud (or Settings > iCloud), then turn on Mail.
