Is there a way to skip to next song in iTunes while keeping the screen off of the Mac?
Hi everyone,
I have an iMac with me in my bedroom, when it is bed time I'd usually put the display to sleep ( just the screen, not the system) and have the iTunes put on some music before I fall asleep, but sometimes even on the most favourable playlist there is still some tracks you'd want to skip (may be that's just me) so in order to control the iTunes which mean waking up the screen and it will brighten up the whole room in the mid of the night.
Is there a way to control iTunes or just skip to next tracks without waking up the display?
I have tried these 3 solution so far:
1) Remapped a spared VR goggles bluetooth remote to control the iTunes, but since the MacOS reckon it as a BT Keyboard, it will trigger the screen just like a normal keyboard.
2) Turn off "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer" but that doesn't help either, since if the system is in sleep mode, iTunes won't play music anyways
3) Using "iTunes remote" app on an iOS device, but forgive me for being finicky, it is still too bright for someone who is about to go to sleep.
Any idea?
Thanks!
