Music skips while streaming

Using iTunes on a Mac or PC while streaming a song will play for 20 to 40 seconds and then skip to the next song in the queue. Is there any way to prevent that, by instead insisting iTunes waits until the song loads? I don't want it to skip to the next song because it figures it can't load it. I am not having this issue using Apple Music on my iPhone X. Just having it on my MacBook Pro and Dell Laptop. I have this issue at work, home, and at coffee shops. So annoying.
