Unable to sign into iTunes desktop

I'm trying to sign into iTunes desktop, but it keeps pulling up my recovery email and not my primary email. I only have one Apple account and ID, I'm not signed on with any other account. How do I fix this? I'm unable to use iTunes in any capacity.

Try signing out of the iTunes Store first. Take the computer offline first if needed.
