How much drop a iphone 7 can handle without a case?

There is no drop rating or specification for an iPhone. It’s not part of any public tech specs or published information.

Depending on what it lands on, and it’s orientation when impacting, anything is possible from just about any height. Drop it just right, edge on, and glass can break (edge hits on glass are much more likely to cause damage than landing flat).

And regardless of the height, if it is damaged the warranty will be voided. The warranty is voided by accidental damage. There is no limitation or caveats on how, why, where, when or under what circumstances the accident occurs in the warranty terms.

It depends on many factors - height, type of floor, fall on edge, etc...

Sometimes you are lucky, sometimes you're not.

Having a case and screen protector might help but is no guarantee.
