I've been trying to export an 80 minute 4K project, but every time around 50% completion I get the following error:
The share operation “Master File” has failed
com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1
Anybody know how to remedy this? Tried googling but it doesn't seem to bring up anything relevant
Tried tweaking the export settings but get the same error
MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13.5)
Delete FCP X preferences. Delete render files.
Try again.
If it fails, try this: select all, copy, make a new project with the same settings, paste.
Try exporting the new project. Sometimes a project gets subtly corrupted, and this copying to a new project can solve it.
I tried this earlier today alreay, didn't help unfortunately
Then I disabled App Nap, and after that it worked
How are you exporting? Master File, Apple devices, youtube?

What version of FCP X and macOS are you using?
I don’t think I’ve seen the checkbox for App Nap associated with FCP X for some time now. I assumed it would always be disabled.
Latest version of both
I didn't see the checkbox, but activity monitor showed that final cut was being put to sleep, so I disabled app nap globally in terminal, after which it worked
