Does Apple TV 4k support projectors
I plan on buying a 1080p projector and I want to know if Apple TV 4k is compatible with any projector (also is HDMI 2.0 necessary).

Apple TV will support projectors with HDMI+HDCP. Apple TV 4K supports lower resolutions, e.g. 1080p. 1080p requires HDMI 1.3 or higher.
Apple TV 4K will work with e.g. still plentiful HDMI 1.4, within its constraints (some options may be out of spec). Apple TV 4K itself has a HDMI 2.0 port for its full potential; that port is backwards compatible.
