I use the pdf writer for one of my programs to print to pdf. All of a sudden it stopped working. I have tried everything, reloading it, restarting it, deleting it from my printer box but nothing works. What can I do? Is there a pdf printer driver that I can download for the mac other than the one that comes with the computer? Thanks Toby
This is thinking outside the box, but there is a project called CUPS-PDF which installs a PDF printer on Macs.
I used it before back when Snow Leopard was around. The CUPS-PDF project can be found at

I have a drawing program that I set up the printer as the pdf writer. I can not print with this program like I do with other documents where I can choose to save it as a pdf. It was working fine a few days ago and now the pdf file that goes to the pdf writer folder is blank (zero bytes). I hope this makes sense.
