Kindle download

I hope someone can help me.

I recently had to reset my IPad Mini, which included deleting all the apps. When I tried to download

the Kindle app, it told me that i needed iOS 10 in order to download Kindle. Unfortunately the IPad Mini only updates to iOS 9.3.5

Please could someone assist me in getting the old Kindle version.

How can I get the kindle app for ios 9 on an older ipad? There was a thread in 2018 about how to do this, older iTunes allowed you to choose the version, including older ones, to download, but it doesn't seem possible. Any other options?

Download an older app version I bought a new iPad and gave the older one to my husband. He wanted to use it as a kindle reader, email and messaging and basic internet searches. Well... I clean it up and took it back to it's factory settings. Then proceeded to set it up for hubby. When I went to download the Kindle Reader it said we needed 12.0 version. HA! It was only 10.3.3. AND, according to apple the software was up to date. Interestingly the old Kindle app was working fine on the old iPad. So the question is... how does one find and download the older Kindle version app?

Use Kindle app on Ipad 1 5.1.1 hey folks. I have a jailbroken Ipad 1 version 5.1.1 and since there’s no available updates higher to be upgraded to, I wanted to make use of it and use it for kindle App, I tried downloading it but it says that it’s not compatible with my ipad. My question is, is there a way to remove the jailbreak and download kindle on my ipad ? thank you folks.

The Apple App Store, most likely, does not still offer earlier versions of the Kindle reading app unless Amazon will provide them. I suggest that you try going to Amazon Device Support to see if they can provide a version that will work with your older iPad mini.
