Apple Watch on the inside of wrist?

Is it possible to wear an Apple Watch on the inside of your wrist and have it respond properly when you lift your wrist to read it? Some kind of adjustment would have to be made to the settings, and I have not found how to do that.

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 4.2.2, Space Gray, black band

Your shoulders don’t even stop someone from suffering if only out side wrist wear.
