HP ScanJet Pro 3500f1 won't connect to OSX 10.9.5
- HP Easy Start software recognizes the ScanJet Pro 3500 and downloads drivers
- At next step, EasyStart cant find the scanner to do a test scan
- Also cant add the scanner in printer/scanners in System profile
- Machine hardwarde profile shows the scanner attached to a USB interface, very odd!
I spent 1-2 hours with HP Support on this. They suggested getting a different ScanJet 3500. Did that and same problem.
I would be very grateful for any ideas on how to fix things.
