image capture broken by osx 12 update

After update to osx 12.0.1 on my Mac mini M1 the Image Capture can't connect to my Brother MFC-L2731DW scanner anymore. I'm getting "Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345)" error.

Printing works.

I did a "Reset of the Printing System" (hold ctrl, and click on the printer list) and added everything again using Air Print. No errors here.

If I use the Brother print & scan tool, i can normally use the scanner.

It seem to be an issue with the osx update.

Any ideas?

PS. osx 12.0.1update broke my USB-C hubs as well.... USB ports are dead.

No the IPv6 was disabled. After enabling it the scanner is working again.

Regarding the usb hubs It's been reported 6 months ago... and still they decided to release the 12.x update
