How Do I Fully Erase "Drive Genius 4 DrivePulse™"

I was trying to do a task using some new software and I downloaded Drive Genius 4 DrivePulse™ The product didn't work and I didn't want it on my MacBook anymore. I deleted it from the Applications folder and did a 'Full Erase' with Dr. Cleaner, which usually gets rid of extra files from software I've deleted. I can't find any traces of it in Finder, including the original Application and files with keywords like 'DriveGenius', 'DrivePulse'. Everything should be deleted. But after Drive Genius was supposedly gone for good, I noticed in my Menu Bar, a new application symbol. Guess what? It's Drive Genius! When I click it, I see the menu in the first picture. Also, when I right-click a file, there's a new option to 'Erase' my file. When I click this, I get a popup from Finder asking to destroy the folder. Also notice a different popup, also in the third picture, mentioning the fact that I downloaded the program as a free trial. Obviously, Drive Genius is not completely erased and I want to get rid of it.

I have several questions:

1. Could Drive Genius be harmful to my computer, Spyware, Malware, etc.?

2. How do I completely erase it from my computer?

3. Why is there no software removing option from the menus I see?

4. Did I do something wrong while I was trying to remove the program or is it just because the software is stubborn?

I just want it gone from my laptop and I need to find out how to make that happen.

Thanks for any help!

P.S. Using Macbook Pro is the closest community I could find for my problem, Sorry if this is the wrong area.

Edit: I got the icon off of my menu bar but I still see Drive Genius when I right-click files.

Drive Genius is a not a bad program. Drive Pulse is its way of monitoring your drives to see if they are developing issues as they work. If it does not suit you, then do not use it.

Dr Cleaner and its ilk just do the same thing you described above -- "guess" at some names that seem similar, and delete those as well. That is why all of them have a reputation for attempting to discard the still-beating heart of MacOS rather than what they should be deleting. Users who insist they work fine post here wondering why their Mac won't start any more, and end up having to take a few hours re-installing MacOS to fix it.

Dr. Cleaner has no place on your premium quality Macintosh computer.

* Software that Installed by Drag-and-Drop into the Applications folder, should un-install by Drag-and-Drop to the Trash, followed by a Restart.

• Software that used an Installer script to install should using the Un-installer script provided by the software maker. Sometimes you may have to re-open the .dmg file to get that Un-Installer script, or occasionally download the package again.

• Un-Install from a Menu is not common.
