Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
iPhone 8 - Just bought it and finished setting up.
Everything installed Ok and all apps, except the Apple Store app, updated Ok.
Battery fully charged and also tried when plugged into the mains, tried signing out of my apple account on the phone then back in but this makes no difference.
Software version 11.4
Any suggestions as to how to cure please?

If you cannot open or update the app in question you could try Settings > General > iPhone Storage > {App in question} > Offload App and then reinstall the app.

Doesn’t work. New phone, all updated except App Store won’t. It begins to then stops and just says “update” again. I signed out, then back on but makes no difference.
