I need to use Furigana text in an apple photo book but it won’t display?

In Japanese, Furigana means Ruby text which displays Hiragana above Kanji. I can only get the Hiragana to display in brackets after Kanji but it is supposed to be above it. This helps young children understand the meaning of the words. Is there a way to achieve ruby text, or Furigana, in an apple photo book?

Thank you so much Tom, yes, you’re right. I have managed to get the text to display correctly in Pages but when I copy it into the Apple photo book it puts the Hiragana in brackets following the Kanji, rather than in a smaller size above it as per Ruby text. I think I may need to ask Apple directly to find out if the program supports it. Thank you for your valuable help!
