Stuck while "Enter Passcode of Other iPhone"

Case:

I just purchased a new iPhone. I restored the backup of my old iPhone into the new one using iTunes. Everything went down smooth, just one hiccup. To finish the iCloud setting/installation I need to enter the passcode of my old iPhone. Did it. But stuck on the same page. On the top right of the screen there's a circle bar, showing it's verifying but that takes forever. It's far to long.

Question:

Does anybody has the same problem and solved it? Thanks.

You are welcome. I don't know what to suggest to solve that. You might try Apple ID Support.

thanks man, but I ended up with reset the encryption data.

Funny thing is, whenever I reset the encryption on my newer phone, a notification pop up on my older phone saying that I need to update my Apple ID setting. Following that instruction I reset the encryption on my older phone, then the notification pop up on my newer phone. It's doing the same thing over and over again.

Do you have access to another network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.
