Water resistant beware

I had my iPhone in my back pocket in a ziplock baggy and got sprayed by a water hose Apple will not warranty due to water damage very disappointed in water resistant iphoneX. Read the fine print of warranty

Water resistant does not mean water proof. Read the fine print carefully.

Yes, there is a big difference between water resistant and water proof.

It is very strange that your phone would be damaged from the situation you describe. I have seen phones dropped in pools and work fine. What exactly is wrong with it?

Same thing happened with me. I have 3 iphonex at home. My one phone is damaged by little rain. but the other iphones were ok in deep water too..
