Hi. All of applications on my MacBook Pro are corrupted including system preferences app, it says “You can’t open the application “app name“ because it may be damaged or incomplete. I tried to reinstall the system and doesn’t work..Anybody knows how can I solve this issue ?
There are additional copies of Disk Utility available in many places:
"Regular" Recovery partition
Internet Recovery will download a copy and place it on a RAM disk for use
any Installer DVD
any bootable USB-stick Installer/Utilities thumb-drive
also, your Mac an boot from any appropriate drive, internal or external. So you could conceivably install MacOS on an external drive, and boot from that.
Macs from the right era can do Target Disk Mode, where the entire damaged Mac becomes a drive attached to the other Mac. This can be used for disk Repair and re-Install.
You have probably lost the macOS applications whitelist -- the list of what has already passed Gatekeeper and been approved to run. A re_install in place may bring that back to normal.
have you tired running Disk Utility repair disk/First Aid?
If you cannot re-install, what exactly is the message you get?
Even Disk Utility I can’t open...literally everything is corrupted...another option or trick somehow?
