connecting to sony digital photo frame

I am trying to upload photos from our mac onto a sony digital photo frame but the icon that shows it is being connected is taking a very long time....is this usual? or perhaps the frame isn't compatible?

Problem importing video clips from my Sony RX100 to Apple Photos on a Mac Mini Hi. I recently got a new Mac Mini with OS Monterey, and have had to move to the Photos app from iPhotos, which is what I was using on my old (2011) iMac. All my photos and video clips transferred to Photos, and I can see and play both. However, when I attach my camera with new pictures and videos taken since the upgrade, it only imports photos - the videos do not appear in Photos at all. I can still see and play them on my camera, but also want them on my Mac Mini, ideally in my Photos app, so I can see and play them alongside my stills. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about it? For example, do I have to set my camera up to record video in a different format, or something? Thanks in advance.

Trouble downloading photos and movies from Lumix Camera on latest Photos software Version 6.0 (330.0.150) I am having trouble downloading photos and movies from my Panasonic Lumix Camera. It has worked fine until the latest Photos release. When I bring up Photos, it sometimes doesn't show any of the photos, sometimes it showed just one of the series, but sometimes it shows the photos but not the movies. It has stopped showing any movies at all from the camera. It is sort of inconsistent. Also, when I power up the Camera to link it to the computer, sometimes I get a pop-up dialog box that says "File Not Found" which doesn't indicate what file or app (though I assume it's Photos). I use another graphic program that can browse the camera, it can bring up the photos consistently but not the movies and the program's author says that the new version of MacOS prevents his software from deleting the photos after download, which sends me back to Photos again (or manually reformatting the camera's SD card).

I can't think of any reason why it might be compatible. Most folks use SD cards for these devices. But without any details apart form the brand name, it's impossible to know. So, model? how are you connecting? Any other details that you can provide...
