Is the music in photos copyright free?
The reason I ask is that I submitted a video for our Hospital charity. to youtube and we have received a copyright claim. the video is at NHS70 - YouTube so, any ideas?

The music in Photos is protected by copyright, yes.
You can see that, when you open the "About" panel in Photos. For the main menu bar: Photos > About Photos. In this panel click "Acknowledgements".
