iPhone 6 dropped in water

I dropped my iphone 6 in the bath by accident and the phone was fully submerged for less than 2 seconds as I managed to get it out quickly. The phone has a protective case and a tempered glass screen protector, when i took the case off there wasn't any water inside but the charging port and headphone jack were exposed to the water as the case doesn't cover these areas. Everything seems to be working fine, the screen is working fine and I plugged it into my laptop to backup the files and the charging port is working too. I checked the water detector in the sim card tray and it's not red/lit up. I've put the phone in rice just incase but I've heard that this sometimes doesn't work.

Do you think the phone will be fine or will there be damage in the future? Is there anything more I can do?

iPhone 6, iOS 11.4.1

It may or may not be. We had a phone got wet incident a year ago and it still works but you will see posts from others here warning of dire possibilities. The smartest thing to do is not turn it on for a day or two, then try it.

Just FYI: Liquid damage to iPhone or iPod isn't covered by warranty - http://support.apple.com/HT204104 - iPhone and most iPod devices are equipped with Liquid Contact Indicators (LCIs) that you can see from the outside.
